Context
Before choosing Software engineering as my career, I participated, summer 2019, in a robotics summer camp organized by one of the local universities in my area.
Description and goals
This summer camp lasted for a week, where we learnt the basics of Arduino, an extention of the C language, used on Arduino Printed Circuit Boards (PCB). At the end of the learning part, we had to build 4 robots per team to compete against other teams in a mini soccer event.

Implementation
With the help of the tutors, which were students at the local univeristy, we learnt the basics of robotics while building our robots. The basic framework and the Arduino Kit was provided by them, but customizations were made by each team. My group and I, which came from different schools, collaborated to program, build and customize our robot.
The robot had an Arduino Uno board, along with motors, servo motors and a bluetooth connectivity chip to connect to a PlayStationⓇ 3 controller in order to drive the robot.
The other groups that belonged to our team and us were assigned the Swiss team in the final soccer event. A few chosen members of the group drove the robots during the several matches and ended up winning the second place.
